Hello, Mile High runners! With the Colfax Marathon Weekend on the horizon, I am beyond excited to invite you to our official group training program designed to take you from the starting line to that glorious finish line with confidence, stren
gth, and a whole lot of community support. Whether you are training for any of the Colfax race distances or another spring race, come join our group of like minded supportive humans!

Why Train with a Group in Denver?
Training for a marathon is a monumental journey, both physically and mentally. While solo runs have their place, the synergy of a training group is unmatched. In our group, we emphasize polarized training to ensure long term health. Navigating the unique challenges in training is always easier when you have a pack running alongside you.
Weekly Routine
Consistency is the heartbeat of marathon success. Every Wednesday evening, we meet for targeted sessions. For those looking to sharpen their speed, we host specific workouts at Mile High Stadium to build strength, speed, and durability.
Conquering the Long Run
The "long run" is the cornerstone of any marathon plan. Once a month, we tackle the big miles together running different sections of the Colfax Marathon/Marathon Relay course! From City Park, to Sloan's Lake, we hit all the iconic spots along the route so that when you get to race day you are familiar with the challenges of the course!

A Place for Everyone
Inclusivity is an important part of our mission. We seek to provide a space for runners of all ages and abilities. We have heard many stories of athletes who go to group runs and get left behind or don't feel like the belong or feel unsafe. We do our absolute best to make sure that everyone feels supported and included in our group runs and workouts! Everyone is welcome here!
The Road to Colfax 2026 Starts Now
The Colfax Marathon is Denver’s race. It’s a tour through our neighborhoods, down Colfax, through Mile High stadium, out into the burbs and back, climbing up 17th back into City Park! By joining us, you’re not just getting a training plan; you’re getting a team. We’ll celebrate the wins, push through the "wall" together, and ensure that by May 2026, you are the strongest version of yourself.
